Serverless technologies, or serverless technologies, greatly accelerate the development and operation of mobile and web applications for any platform and operating system. By using the FaunaDB serverless database, the customer saves time and money, as the developer is not distracted by the creation of complex and time-consuming server code. Thanks to the use of FaunaDB, all resources are concentrated on creating the frontend of the application – the part that the user will directly deal with.

FaunaDB is a database with distributed online transaction processing that has ACID properties, i.e. Atomicity, Consistency, Isolation, Durability – atomicity, consistency, isolation, durability. This approach allows us to consider each action as a single operation (transaction), even if it contains many separate operations.

Due to this, high data processing speed and reliability are achieved. FaunaDB is based on technology first applied on Twitter and was created as a startup by people from the development team of this social network. It uses the resources of cloud providers and implements a model of serverless computing – that is, payment is not for a rented server or disk space, but only for resources specifically used at each moment in time.

This allows you to create applications with excellent scalability – the number of users can increase arbitrarily quickly, and it does not need to be planned, renting a server taking into account the growing load on the application.
