What is augmented reality or AR AR TECHNOLOGY

Augmented reality, or augmented reality (AR), is increasingly entering our lives, although so far its application is limited to certain areas. Technologies using augmented reality combine the virtual and real world and create three-dimensional three-dimensional images that can “interact” with the user in real time. Augmented reality is created using the following elements of the gadget:

a processor that perceives and processes signals;
screen for displaying the result;
camera that reads tags;

devices that determine the position of the device in space – such as GPS, compass, accelerometer.

And of course, you need special software to recognize and process the signals coming through the camera and to display them. This software is being developed by AVADA MEDIA. How do augmented reality apps work and where are they used? AVADA-MEDIA

The essence of their work is to provide additional information on the screen of the device, which is used to read special marks. Such marks, recognized by the program, are physically applied to material objects. And if they come into the field of view of the video camera when the augmented reality application is open, playback begins. It can be any information – animated, text, sound, etc. It all depends on the goals and objectives.

AR has found wide application in the gaming industry and in the creation of products for children. For example, augmented reality is increasingly being used to bring game characters to life in books, posters, stands, etc.

So, books with special tags are becoming fashionable – a QR code is printed on the back page, according to which you can immediately download an augmented reality application. So the story becomes more extensive and it is even possible to make it animated.

You can also make any doll animated – just put on it the labels readable by the program and point your smartphone – the doll’s face will “come to life”, it will begin to perform certain actions – of course, only on the smartphone screen.
