Paradobuvi

At the beginning of our journey, we discussed with Paradobuvi representatives the vision of the future site and coordinated expectations. Since the client provided us with ready-made design layouts, in parallel with studying the company and its processes, we also began analyzing the proposed UI.

What kind of work we did at the pre-production stage:

• Conducted a study of the client’s existing online store.
• We explored the possibility of integrating the new website with services that the company already uses in its work. In particular, with warehouse accounting and order processing systems.
• We checked the finished design layouts.
• We compiled a list of UI improvements that could improve the user experience.

Selecting a technology stack

One of the client’s priority requirements is to ensure good site performance for any device. To achieve this goal, we chose the Yii2 PHP framework as the main server technology, and for secure and reliable data exchange between various services, we decided to use Rest API technology.

We decided to build the implementation of the client part of the site on the basis of standard technologies: HTML, CSS and JavaScript. This allowed us to achieve target performance results without making compromises during the development process.

Development stages

Work on the project was carried out in coordination with the client’s IT department. Therefore, to properly organize processes, we built interaction using the flexible Agile methodology. The development process itself consisted of several main stages:

• Study. Studying the client’s business and discussing the project. Checking design layouts, compiling a list of improvements and monitoring their implementation.
• Design. Drawing up project documentation and creating a UX prototype – in coordination with the client’s team. Selection of technology stack.
• Programming. Development of server and client parts of the site and CMS, using previously selected technologies. Performing API integrations with external services: warehouse accounting system, Binotel IP telephony, etc.
• QA testing. After completing technical development, we thoroughly tested and debugged all modules and systems of the site.

What client tasks were solved

• A unique website and content management system have been developed.
• The resource was localized for placement in different domain zones – Ukraine and Poland.
• Implemented tools for SEO optimization of the resource, in accordance with the requirements of the client’s specialist.
• The website was integrated with the client’s warehouse accounting program, balances and purchase requests were synchronized.
• The site was optimized to achieve performance targets for different devices.

Our team has created an effective tool for the client’s business. The new site has a competent and thoughtful interface, has high performance and, thanks to a properly selected stack, is able to simultaneously process an unlimited number of orders. Taken together, this opens up excellent opportunities for Paradobuvi for further development.
